An initiative on the scale
of Central Park demands a
skilled, qualified, and highly
experienced development team.
The ideal partnership has been formed in the shape of Ask Goodman Developments Ltd – a joint venture company which takes the specialist UK and international business park development expertise of Goodman, and combines it with the talent and experience of premier, mixed-use regional developer, Ask.
The people at Ask Goodman know what it takes to develop a successful business park and what occupiers want from their accommodation. Schemes across the UK and Europe are testament to their development approach.
Ask Goodman is developing Central Park on behalf of New East Manchester, one of the UK’s first Urban Regeneration Companies. A partnership between Manchester City Council, the North West Development Agency and English Partnerships, it is making a significant difference to the regeneration and business development of east Manchester.
Encompassing over 1,900 ha, the New East Manchester development area represents investment and regeneration on a scale previously unseen in a regional English city. Over the past five years, New East Manchester has undergone massive change and rapid improvement, which has seen:-
-
10,000 new homes either completed, on-site, or in the pipeline.
- Over 3,000 jobs either created
or safeguarded.
- 800,000 sq ft of new business floorspace completed and occupied.
- A new high school and two new primary schools built.
- Swathes of open green space in and around the Medlock Valley and Philips Park, brought back to life for all to enjoy.
