Providing central support facilities for office occupiers located in a park environment is essential for the following reasons:-

• Occupiers can space plan their accommodation in the knowledge and understanding that support catering facilities will be available thereby eliminating some of the need for wasted valuable net lettable areas.
• The central facilities create a heart for the scheme and a sense of belonging which ties in all of the occupiers into a working environment that is a place people want to be.

In addition to the amenities already at One Central Park we will be providing amenity facility with retail areas to include café/bistro facilities and a newsagent/convenience store.

Central Park provides a dedicated intranet for tenants. The aim will be not only to provide useful information but also to allow tenants to influence the services that are provided by Ask Goodman as the management company. These are in addition to the basic services Ask Goodman provide within the estate charge and include:-

• A car share scheme
• Links to local information - what's on guides, shopping sites etc
• A dedicated room for temporary activities, such as physiotherapy, beauty therapy or massage as tenants dictate

Ask Goodman will initially support these facilities; it is its intention that the intranet will become self-supporting as and when the park is fully developed.

In addition, the go-ahead has been given for a £260 million casino and family entertainment complex at nearby Sportcity, set to be completed in spring 2008.

Already home to Manchester City FC and other sports facilities, it will host a 870,000 sq ft facility including a major casino, a 150- bedroom hotel, a 4,000-seat arena and ice rink, and a major swimming pool complex.

500 one, two and three bedroom apartments will be built on site, based around a new marina and with stunning views over Sportcity. One Central Park provides a range of facilities which are open to occupiers today.

Meeting rooms

One Central Park offers a suite of meeting rooms of 14 seats, one 30 seat boardroom and an 80 seat lecture theatre that can be made available to occupiers.

One Cafe

There is a 100 seat restaurant on the ground floor within One Central Park that offers hot meals and sandwiches throughout the day and a Cafe offering tea and coffee.
